Our 70 amp over amp protection and lockable disconnect. It is 140 feet to the control center behind the house. I have an 8 foot ground rod for the 70 amp service disconnect and another ground rod for the control center panel. Ground rods on the AC side are fine. The poured concrete wall we will add in front of the insulation and above the stone work will be the back wall of our control center.
This 200 amp three way switch will give us a choice of; Grid Power Only or Power From The Protected Sub Distribution Panel And Our Pair of SMA 5048U Inverters. This switch used to be our choice of grid power or backup generator power. Really it still is, but now our hybrid generator will be full time.
