After clearing the area we dug two holes for our 4 foot square by 15 inch deep concrete footing. Bed rock is just three feet down. We are in a valley and have all quality morning sun but loose some evening sun. The Whisper 500 wind turbine will be 1,700' to the west, on top of the mountain ridge. There is wind flagging evident on the Juniper trees at the tower site, indicating continuous wind sufficient for electric generation. The Wattsun trackers will nullify or reverse the loss of evening sun compared to roof and fixed mount panels.
