This seems like the best way to ground all 12 panels to the tracker frame, bypass the ring gear, then to the post which is directly grounded to two ground rods. We made eight lightning rods, one protects the electric eye in the middle on top. All grounding carries away from the panels, the DC wiring, and electric eye wiring. Good separation of ground wire and all other wire seems desirable.
First I ground the end four panels together and run the ground wire past the frame to act as a lightning channel. Notice the burs I scraped on the panel ground hole to get good contact when the ground clip bolts on.
